Recently, I wrote an article explaining my reasoning for choosing BANS(Build A Niche Store) as the main engine for driving my online income streams. Here, I will look closely at a number of powerful features which the BANS script includes and then compare BANS to products from Amazon, Google and Clickbank.

First and foremost, there a three strong features of the BANS script and program. First, it is incredibly easy to build out store after store very quickly after you have spent some time learning the ropes.

Second, you are provided with an enormous number of products from the world’s largest marketplace(Ebay)and you simply choose which subset of these products that you will sell. Third, your upfront expenses are minimal and you can reasonably start your BANS venture for less than two hundred dollars.

All right, let’s look at these features in turn. I began working with BANS around April 1st and within a month I could create a functioning store in under an hour. Now this is not the product that you want the public viewing, however, after this point you will just be adding all the bells and whistles that will separate your store from all the rest.

The second powerful feature associated with BANS is the ability of the BANS script to interface with the Ebay product feed in a seamless manner and provide you with the functionality to create product feeds for different niche markets. Here, it is up to you to decide which market you want to service but the choices are nearly infinite.

The third feature which puts the BANS program head and shoulders above the others is the start-up costs involved. This, of course, is extremely important for everyone but is especially crucial for those just starting out.

All right, let’s now look at some products by competitors which offer affiliates a chance to make money online. The Amazon affiliate program offers commissions across the entire Amazon inventory and affiliates can build “a-stores” in which they can sell the products.

The Amazon a-store is not not nearly as detailed as a BANS website and products must constantly be checked as to their availability on a day by day basis(something not necessary with a BANS store). In addition, your ability to develop stores around specific types of products is very difficult as many of the tools that the affiliate must use to build the store are somewhat primitive and restrictive.

Clickbank offers, by far, the largest repository of information products available anywhere on the Internet. Because you are dealing with information products, delivery is always in the form of a download which is a positive for the affiliate.

However, Clickbank provides no script by which the affiliate can easily build a website to sell these products(as opposed to the Amazon a-store or the BANS script). The affiliates must either build the website themselves or incorporate the selling of the Clickbank products into an already existing site. In addition, you must be ready to strongly market each and every product you intend to sell if you intend to have any chance of success.

Lastly, let’s look at what Google has to offer. Perhaps the single largest affiliate program available today is the Google AdSense program. AdSense provides blocks of advertising material which the affiliate can place in appropriate locations on single or multiple webpages.

The ads are contextual in nature as Google has an algorithm which serves up advertisements that match the content of the page on which they are placed. The affiliate earns money when these ads are clicked on regardless of whether the visitor even purchases a product. Developing websites for the express purpose of earning AdSense money is frowned upon by the major search engines and this product should be used to supplement an income stream that is already in place.

In comparing all these products and then trying each in turn, it became clear to me that BANS stores offered the best chance for success. In fact, the model that I now have in place uses BANS as the primary income stream and I am using the other products in a supplemental way where it is appropriate.

Like all good products, BANS requires a discipline and committment that will have you working hard in order to get it right. But the payoff can be what you hoped for when you got into Internet Marketing in the first place.

Making Money Online; that is the Holy Grail for every internet marketer and one which remains elusive to the large majority of people entering the highly competitive field of selling over the Internet.

It was nearly six months ago that I made the decision to take a year off from work (I was a high school mathematics teacher) and throw my hat into the ring of internet marketing. I was brutally honest with myself when it came to evaluating my strengths and weaknesses and this analysis was the first step in the process of deciding on a path to follow.

I have strong computer skills, as I have taught several computer programming courses (a real plus) but I had never actually sold anything and was unclear on how to go about it (a decided minus).

From the beginning, I was very suspicious of all the “gurus” who claimed that wild riches were just around the corner if only I would buy their product. Too many of them claimed that the process could be put on autopilot and all one had to do was to sit back and count the money as it came rolling in.

Needless to say, I spent a good deal of money over the first two months trying “a little of this and a little of that” while making very little actual progress towards a solid financial future. However, I did learn an enormous amount and began to see what would and what would not work for me.

Perhaps the biggest thing that I learned was that there was not going to be an easy way to reaching my goal of financial freedom and that, like with anything else in life, if you want good results you are going to have to work hard. No problem there, but which road should I take to get there?

What I wanted was a down to earth method of selling a down to earth product. It became immediately clear to me that I had nothing of my own that I could sell and the whole “soup to nuts” process of selling (inventory, payment methods, returns, etc.) was something I wanted no part of. This pointed me in the direction of becoming an affiliate (selling someone else’s product) and my search began in earnest.

First of all, I needed a product line which was expansive and had a large inventory and, if possible, I wanted nothing to do with controlling that inventory. These factors pointed me straight to what is perhaps the worlds biggest marketplace; Ebay.

Ebay was the absolute perfect solution for me; it had a truly enormous inventory that could easily be broken up to sell to different niche markets. Also, I now had a dynamic inventory which was determined and managed by the auction process and, perhaps most importantly to me, the selling process from beginning to end was managed by the trusted Ebay selling machine.

What I needed was a way to tap into the Ebay auction feed and then set up some mechanism by which I could sell products to specific niche markets. I had already signed up to be an Ebay affiliate through the Ebay Partner Network and my search was on for the right tool through which I could sell my products.

This is where BANS (Build a Niche Store) came in. Not only did the BANS script (a computer program) supply the Ebay auction feed but it came with website building capabilities that were professional in nature, customizable in detail and extremely simple to use. I have been building niche stores with BANS for less than three months now and I can build a fully functional store in under thirty minutes. Of course, it will take much longer to apply all the bells and whistles, but you get the idea. I have never come across an easier way to “rinse and repeat” than that which is provided by BANS and my full attention is now being given to developing more and more of these niche stores.

So the big question is, have the results kept up with the promises? The answer is a resounding YES! Now this is most definitely not a “become a millionaire overnight” product, but I can say that I am on track to make $40,000 my first year and I expect to do much better as I build more and more BANS stores.

Now, of course, finding a method to build a website that will sell products that people want to buy is only one half of the puzzle. But, at least for me, I do not and will not look anywhere else. BANS is the answer; period.

The last part of the puzzle is even more difficult to find an answer for than the first and it is simply this: How do you get people to go to your store? In the near future, I will be writing an ebook which explains that process and this will be my first attempt to sell a product of my own.

Summing up, BANS is an extraordinary computer script that greatly simplifies the process of building a store with an enormous inventory that is also extremely easy to manage. You can get much more information on BANS by checking the authors box that appears after this article. At least for me, it is the Holy Grail of Internet Marketing and I give it my highest recommendation.

The fashion and music industries have always had many common components and invariably a new movement in the recording business has resulted in the development of new fashion styles for the fans. I still remember when the Beatles were hitting the American shores for the first time, how everyone just “had to have” a John Lennon Beatle Hat. Tie-Dye and low riders are other examples of fashions that had their roots in the music industry.

Having said this, it does seem a bit surprising that there has not been a steady flood of ventures issuing forth from these two strongly related industries. Perhaps, then, what was announced last Wednesday will be a sign of things to come.

On April 16th, Tommy Hilfiger(a U.S. fashion company) and Sony BMG(one of the largest recording companies in the world today), announced that they were going to start a venture that would include a fashion and music online television/website, the latest sign that the fashion and music industries were moving ever closer in the joint promotion arena.

TommyTV, as the new venture will be called, will present live performances by both established and new artists sponsored by Tommy Hilfiger and will include exclusive interviews and backstage footage. Hilfiger also indicated that he envisioned TommyTV hosting regular competitions where young, new artists could showcase their talents. He said that these competitions would offer a venue to the young musicians that they ordinarily would not have and could be a real stepping stone to a successful career.

And what is in it for the new partners you ask? For Tommy Hilfiger, who has built a strong, worldwide brand covering thousands of products on a hip and savvy image presentation to U.S. teenagers, he has said that there will be a strong connection between the show and the website. Hilfiger fashions will be prominently displayed and a person will easily and spontaneously be able to purchase fashion products from the site while watching the concerts.

For Sony BMG, the hope is that they will catch lightning in a bottle with one or more of the popular artists that will be on display, said Sony BMG Chief Executive Maarten Steinkam. And, while there are no plans to charge for music downloads at the present time, it seems inevitable that this will happen sooner rather than later.

While it would seem obvious that these types of joint ventures would be a regular occurrence, some people feel that the music industry really has no choice; what with music sales being down over 10% last year and illegal downloads becoming more and more of a problem. The industry is standing at the threshold of a new era and they must be willing to explore new and promising strategies. This joint venture and strategic planning between Tommy Hilfiger and Sony BMG is an example of two companies trying to develop a strategy that is a “win-win” for both entities with the hope that this will lead to bigger and better things down the road.

The Internet. Ahhh, can anyone really imagine a world without it today? And yet, it was only a few short decades ago that the online community consisted of mainly academics and government folks. Now, everything imaginable is available online and a large percentage of people spend several hours every day surfing the web.Different ways to get a share of the profits available to innovative entrepreneurs have been developed for those who want to make money online and the choices available are staggering and somewhat confusing. Some have great potential while others are simply thinly disguised scams. Here is where I come in.

Who am I? Well, if you are just starting the process of finding out how to make money online, I was you 4 months ago. I am a teacher (Mathematics) and have been for the past 25 years. I have taken this year off to see if I can successfully start an Internet venture and begin to make serious money online. I knew I would need to spend some “startup” money, but I wanted to keep this to a minimum at first in order to see what was working and what wasn’t. Here is where I can save you big money by recommending the best resources I have found.

When I started out, I was absolutely overwhelmed by the choices available and when I read the sales copy of each product or book it seemed as if I had to own every single one of them in order to be successful. I got so tired reading through the bonuses I would get and how I would become a millionaire in a short time. Obviously, it would not be that easy but I knew that there were products and resources out there that I could and would use to become successful.

Well, I bought as many as I could on a trial basis (and cancelled many in the first 30 days), joined several forums for a wealth of advice and after 4 months I now have the tools necessary. It is the result of having spent 10-12 hours every day researching products and then reading about and using many of them until I now have a core set of products and resources with which to be successful in this internet business opportunity and start making money online. These resources are the ones I am currently using (or have tested extensively) and the money has started to come in significantly as I have put in place 4 major income streams.

Before you even begin to explore what direction you will be taking to make money on the Internet, you should do a system check. A lot will be asked of your computer and the worst thing imaginable can and does happen. Can you imagine walking into your home office one day and your system is dead? What was on the machine may represent enormous amounts of work, from a fully developed website to listings of all of your resources. Ughh!!

First thing you should do is get a couple of external hard drives for your system. Use these to store backups of your system and all your online business resources. Develop and automate a backup scheme so if worst comes to worst, you can rebuild your system from scratch.

Make sure your virus protection software is one of the best rated and check to see that it updates on a regular basis. You will be downloading countless files in you quest to make money online and your exposure to malware will be greatly increased.

You will need plenty of time to set your online business up, so think long and hard to see if you have enough spare time in your current lifestyle to allow you to have the time available to really get this venture right.

Well, enough of the preliminaries. You are now ready to start exploring very specific methods to make money on the Internet. Remember, “I need to learn, learn, learn so I can earn, earn, earn”.
